Reverse Sensors and Cameras
Vehicle Safety Sensor Systems are a detection and warning system in one that effectively provide the driver of a vehicle with another pair of eyes whilst reversing.
The system uses high tech ultrasonic sensors fitted into the rear bumper bar. When reversing the sensors continuously monitor the available distance from a vehicle to any obstacles within the detection zone. Features of the Camera Systems:
- Enables the driver of a vehicle to clearly observe everything that is behind the vehicle whilst it is being reversed.
This system is particularly ideal for disabled or physically impaired drivers who have a limited mobility, and is recommended by Road and Vehicle Accident Authorities.
This is achieved by means of a wide angle video camera mounted or installed in the rear of the vehicle. The camera can be inserted into the rear bumper bar or mounted into a suitably located bracket. The system is activated only when the vehicle is placed in reverse. The camera captures a live image of the area behind the vehicle which is instantly displayed on the colour monitor located in the rear view mirror.
